Popular for board riding, long beach walks and getting close to nature. Patrolled seasonally. Lifeguard tower located at Beach Access 248.

Beach Access points 247 - 253. Wurtulla Beach is patrolled during the summer months and school holidays. There is a playground and public amenities located at Dorothy Anderson Park Beach Access point 248 near Tallawa Place. There are beach showers located at Beach Access points 247 - 252. Beach access point 253 is located at the mouth of Currimundi Creek in the Currimundi Lake (Kathleen McArthur) Conservation Reserve.

Conditions are best in the morning, it can be windy in the afternoon.

Dogs are permitted off leash at all times between Moondara Drive, Wurtulla to Currimundi Creek, Currimundi (Beach access 249 to 253), or as indicated on provided signs.
