Alex Forest Conservation Area

This Conservation Area is a 6 hectare remnant wet schlerophryl and re-vegetated forest. It features walking trails. There is access from Tranquil Place, Woyin Street as well as Mari Street.

Alex Forest Conservation Area contains 6 hectares of remnant wet schlerophryl and re-vegetated forest. It is located only 250 metres from the beach and features 1 kilometre of walking trails. There is access from Tranquil Place, Woyin Street as well as Mari Street. The park is an important suburban wildlife preserve in the heart of Alexandra Headland and is maintained with the assistance of Alex Forest Community Conservation Group volunteers. There has been recorded to be over 180 native plant species.
