The Beaches and Parks Directory is a database of our popular destination open spaces / parks within our region. Most parks listed in the directory contain a 'details' page which provides you with basic information and photographs to help you decide where you want to explore.  However it currently does not include every park in our region.

Ways to search

  • Keyword (park, street name, facility type)

More options:

  • Filter by type of park
  • Filter by suburb
  • Filter by feature (facility type), such as: barbecue, playground, skate park, dog park and more.

Hover over the pictograms for a description or for mobile phone use, see the pictogram legend.

Maps

  • Visit the Beaches page on our website for a map of patrolled and unpatrolled beaches.
  • You can search the location of ALL our beaches and parks using the Beaches and Parks Directory Map.  This aerial map shows facilities currently available in each open space area that are maintained by council.
  • See also: Parks definitions.
Please note: Our teams are out and about caring for council’s 1069 hectares of parklands and reserves across the Sunshine Coast region. Prolonged wet periods can delay our regular maintenance schedule and even when the rain clears, we need to allow the ground to dry out or risk significant damage to our green spaces. We appreciate that our community is our eyes and ears on the ground and thank you for your patience while we schedule maintenance in the most efficient way.
