Council investigates environmental nuisance and pollution under the Environmental Protection Act 1994.

Sunshine Coast Council investigates environmental nuisance and pollution. The Environmental Protection Act 1994 regulates residential, commercial and industrial:

  • noise nuisances
  • air pollution, and
  • water pollution.

It also includes an emission criteria for light nuisance. Find out about the regulations and how to make a complaint.
