Levy highlights from the 2020/21 financial year:

  • $5.6m invested into the purchase of 6 properties adding 242 hectares added to the conservation estate
  • $590k provided to 20 Environment Levy Partnership groups
  • $229k in Landholder Environment Grants provided to 68 private landholders
  • 22,000 seedlings and 87 nest boxes for Land for Wildlife members
  • 4 new Voluntary Conservation Agreements (bringing total to 88 and protecting 1320 ha)
  • $1m invested into coastal dunal rehabilitation and shoreline erosion management
  • $35k invested into riparian restoration (more than 35,000 trees maintained)
  • $447k in pest action and community engagement
  • Over 1,000 attendees at the 7th Annual Australian Bat Night
  • $131k in river and estuary monitoring across 4 catchments
