Nambour Forecourt Live is back on!

The rescheduled ‘Nambour Forecourt Live!’ Is a live music and arts workshop event hosted by Sunshine Coast Council, Sunshine Coast Libraries and Peace Run Records on 10 September from 2-8pm.

This community event will be the opening party for the newly renovated Nambour Forecourt on the corner of Currie St and Bury Street in the Nambour Entertainment Precinct.

Bring the whole family for a fun filled afternoon and evening for all ages.

Community Partnership Funding

Council’s Community Partnership Funding Program has established 138 three-year partnerships with Sunshine Coast community organisations, investing more than $990,000 into these groups for this financial year.

Through this program, Council develops strong relationships with sports groups, community halls, chambers of commerce, industry groups, coast guards, animal refuges, museums and cultural heritage groups, creative arts peak bodies and community centres.

Congratulations to our successful Division 10 groups including Mapleton and District Community Assn Inc who will receive $3000 each year for the next three years to assist with the operations of the Old School House, Mapleton Bowls Club Incorporated who will receive a total of $12,000 towards their operations, Mapleton Community Library - $7000 a year for the next three years, and Nambour and District Tennis Association – a total of $16,500 towards ground maintenance.
